Ice cream cakes – brand new from Caffè e Gelato Once again, the creative gelato geniuses on Potsdamer Platz are spoiling their guests with delicious new treats. The Italian quality ice-cream café Caffè e Gelato in the Potsdamer Platz Arcades has extended its range. From now on, lovers of the high art of ice cream can look forward to a wide selection of exquisite ice cream cakes. The ice cream cakes from the popular Berlin ice cream café are the perfect treat for celebrations such as children’s and adults’ birthdays, parties, and of course just for pure love of ice cream. In line with the Caffè e Gelato philosophy, the cakes are made out of only the best ingredients. All cakes are based around one flavour of semifreddo in combination with other delights such as crème Chantilly, sponge cake or various types of ice cream. Please bear in mind that the cakes are only available on advance order, as they do take a while to create. Feel free to ask about variations on the standard recipes. The cakes are sold by weight, at a price of € 25 per kilogram. As always, we hope you enjoy every last spoonful!
